Computing Hardware Resources

The Department maintains a comprehensive scientific computing facility that is modeled as a fully distributed client-server environment. Every staff member has desk access to the X11 windowing system via workstations or X-Window terminals. The Department is one of the major sources of UNIX expertise in the Longwood medical area.
